Walk barefoot on the white travertine terraces filled with warm, turquoise water, then explore Hierapolis, the Roman spa city on top of the hill, with its huge necropolis and Roman theatre. There is time to swim in the thermal waters before the drive back.

What to bring: swimsuit and towel if you want to swim, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Shoes are not allowed on the travertines, so a bag for them is handy.
We pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive inland through the valley of the Büyük Menderes river to Pamukkale.
With your guide, explore Hierapolis, the ancient spa city founded in the 2nd century BC: its Roman theatre, the large necropolis and the city gates. Then walk barefoot on the white calcium terraces of Pamukkale.

Free time to enjoy the warm waters. You can swim among ancient columns in the Antique Pool (extra ticket) or relax in the travertine pools.
