We are the controller of the personal data described below. We process it in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for visitors from the European Union and United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

When you send a reservation request or contact us, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, preferred tour date, number of adults and children, hotel or pickup location and your message.

When you browse the site, our server records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

Why we use it

  • To answer your request, check availability and arrange your tour (steps taken at your request before a contract).
  • To deliver the services you book, including passing the necessary details to the guide, driver or hotel that provides them (performance of a contract).
  • To meet our legal obligations, for example accounting and tourism regulations.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse (our legitimate interests).

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

  • Guides, drivers, hotels and other partners who provide the services you book, only as far as needed.
  • Our web hosting provider in Türkiye, which stores this website and our email.
  • Google, which delivers the fonts and maps shown on this website. Google may receive your IP address when these load.
  • Public authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these recipients may be outside your country. Where data is transferred from the EU or UK, we rely on the safeguards the law allows, including your explicit request for the service.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation requests that do not lead to a booking for up to 12 months. We keep booking records for as long as Turkish tax and tourism law requires. Server logs are kept for a short period for security reasons.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, for example to remember a login. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it. You can also withdraw any consent you have given. To do so, email info@holidayturkeytours.com. You have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, if you live in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
